The Manawatu Striders have been running top quality events for 35 years and continue to provide great events to the Manawatu and the wider region. Every summer it attracts over 1500 participants to its Super Sevens Series which is now one of the most successful run series in New Zealand.
Summer Super Sevens
14 January to 24 February 2020
Now one of the most successful run series in New Zealand, the Super Sevens is a 7 km or 3 km run/walk around the streets of Palmerston North and include the Manawatu Bridle Track and Esplanade walk ways. Held weekly for seven Tuesdays.
MANAWATU SCHOOLS ROAD RACE

A competitive road race for Years 5-8. Trophies available for individual winners as well as winning school teams.
Marathon, Half Marathon, 10k and 5k

The Manawatu Striders Marathon, Half Marathon, 10 km and 5 km is the club’s premium event for the year. The event is based at Massey University and takes in the stunning scenery along the Manawatu Bridle Track and across the Fitzherbert bridge.
Ashhurst to esplanade

The A2E is coming into its 8th year and growing in size every year. It is a point to point run the follows the Manawatu River Finishing in the Heart of Palmerston North at the Esplanade.
