Thank you to all the 79 participants who fronted up to this years KahuterawaTwo Day Classic.
It was great to have people turn up from as far away as Wellington and Roturua and although the conditions were at times difficult everyone seemed to have a great time.
 One of my enduring memories from the weekend occured on Saturday afternoon at the conclusion of Stage Two.
 I was handing out bananas at the finish line and rushed back to the woolshed near the conclusion of the stage to get some more bananas.
 The weather for this stage was rough. Heavy rain and participants were thoroughly drenched and mudied.
 The sight in the woolshed is one I will not forget. Semi naked exhausted bodies on the woolshed floor everywhere, munching bananas and  relating their own individual experiences of the stage.
 The comradadeship that was clearly obvious  is all part of this Event and I hope all participants will go back to their clubs,mates and acquaintances and spread the word.
 
Next years event will be bigger and brighter.
